New Years Resolution

It is that time of year, yes, New Years Resolutions. But no not me! My husband preached about making them and making the choice each day to keep them. Soooooo no not me. But I do have a desire I want to achieve this year and that is the all time favorite, to lose weight. But it will have to be after the new year starts, too many goodies in the house right now for the holidays, plus we are ordering pizza for New Year's Eve. Soooo it will have to wait until we all return back to school next week.
Wiiiiiiiiii, yes the Wii is going to help me achieve this goal of losing weight and getting in shape. For Christmas we recieve the Wii Fit and boy does it kick b_t t. Not to mention a good laugh when my family tries to do the hoola hoop. I have never been a jogger before but this thing has me jogging each day and desiring to do more, amazing.
Happy New Years and Happy Fitness.

No 2 are alike!

HEY ALL! We are sooo excited to see progress being made in our adoption process. We travel to RTP for our fingerprinting. Now we are in the waiting mode AGAIN. For Homeland Security to approve us. Then papers can finally start moving. You know, being sent to the right places in order to proceed with the adoption. Keep us in your prayers.

We are set for fingerprinting!!

Yesterday we got official envelopes from Homeland Security requesting our presence in Durham for fingerprinting. This just puts us one step closer to China and our daughter. Please pray things go smoothly and quickly for us. And pray for our daughter, that God has the perfect little girl picked out for our family. That she will fit in like she has always been a part of our family. And even though we are on the special needs list, we pray that her needs are minor. It is not that we are picky, we are being realistic with what we can afford once she is home with us. Thanks!

I800 Form

We went to see the Dead Sea Scrolls yesterday and to a Carolina Tarheels basketball game. When we returned home last night about 10:30pm, sitting in our mailbox was an envelope from Homeland Security. C wanted me to open it up ASAP, he just kept bugging me. But I was worried they need something more from since I forgot to include a cover letter with my I800 for. So I first did all my nightly chores before hitting the bed, then I sat on my bed and opened the envelope. It was a good filling to open it and see something so official in it. That means our I800 form has been processed. Our next step is to be fingerprinted. That will mean C and I will have to travel to either Charlotte, NC, or Charleston, SC. We just one step closer. This also means God is really teaching me patients. "God grant me patience BUT hurry" was always posted in my grandmothers kitchen, now I know its meaning. ARGGG!
